Halloween and Haiku Reading Featuring Local Poet Michael Henry Lee. On Sunday October 31st from 3 pm to 5 pm, Ancient City Poets will present a Dead Poets Costume gathering. All ages are welcome and encouraged to come dressed as their favorite dead poet or any Halloween costume. The featured artist for the afternoon will be haiku enthusiast Michael Henry Lee who will present an interactive Japanese Haiku experience. A founding member of the Ancient City Poets, Mister Lee's work has has appeared in Graffiti Kolkata, Haiku News, and Word Salad. Mr. Lee has also served as the assistant editor for two Poet Plant Press publications and self published his own collection entitled Zengelical. The afternoon will also include an open mic portion for all those who wish to share a haiku or two.
